The District Scout Fellowship embraces four Scout Fellowship’s as follows:
District Scout Fellowship:
This supports the District in helping to run events and competition and provides help if it is needed. This section meets on the third Wednesday of each month – except August – with its own programme which is varied and covers many interests.
Panther Scout Fellowship:
This section soley supports the Lees Wood Campsite, providing Service Crews, Site management, maintenance, conservation and activity instructors on site.
They meet on Tuesdays to carry out work and maintenance that need to be done on site as well as running instructor courses.
Abbots Langley Scout Fellowship:
This section is attached to the 3rd North Watford (1st Abbots Langley) Scout Group and supports the Group with fundraising as well as having it own meetings and programme.
Langleybury Scout Fellowship:
This section is attached to the 5th North Watford (1st Langleybury ) Scout Group and supports the Group with fundraising as well as meeting with the District Fellowship.
In 2009 the Scout Association rebranded the ‘Scout Fellowship’ and the name will change to ‘Scout Active Support’. The aims and objectives are the same; to support the District and Groups. The District name changes will be completed by the end of 2010.
